2015-2017 Optimization of the Preservation Environment Project

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Sustaining Cultural Heritage Collections planning grant supported an important project titled Optimization of the Preservation Environment. The goal of this project was to determine how the Center for Jewish History can achieve the best possible preservation environment that is both sustainable and appropriate for the wide range of collections that reside at the Center. The results of this two year project are highlighted in the white paper written by the Center, which can be found below.
