Book a Librarian
The Center for Jewish History is happy to arrange one-on-one research appointments. Thirty minute sessions are limited to one research topic appropriate to the collections housed at the Center. The intention of the service is to assist you in discovering specific print and electronic resources in the collections to further your research. Some topics, such as translation, are better addressed in correspondence. In some circumstances, we may recommend you contact a specialist from our partner institutions, because they are more knowledgeable in certain areas. At the discretion of the staff, requests for an appointment may be differed if your inquiry can be answered on a walk-in basis by a librarian who can provide basic orientation to resources and an explanation of our catalog system.
The Center will make every effort to accommodate one of the three times you list in the request form below. Phone consultations can also be arranged, particularly for patrons who are considering traveling to the Center to make use of the collections.
Please fill out the following information. Someone will contact you for more information or to schedule an appointment.
